Give Out Day kicks off this week and is the only national event specifically focused on raising funds for LGBTQ+ nonprofits across the United States. Organized by California-based LGBTQ+ organization Horizons Foundation, the month-long event provides an opportunity for LGBTQ+ organizations to engage with their supporters and gain visibility. This is especially crucial for smaller organizations or those in areas where LGBTQ+ rights are less supported.

Give Out Day culminates on May 30 and individuals are encouraged to donate to various LGBTQ+ causes and organizations throughout the month, helping to fund essential services, advocacy and outreach programs. Organizations can also win prizes by being at the top of their leaderboards by number of unique donors.

Over 380 organizations are raising money through Give Out Day this year. You can find organizations by their focus, who they serve, category and location.

Need help narrowing the list? Here are 11 LGBTQ+ organizations participating in Give Out Day that you should check out.
