The university has been under investigation since early February over compliance with Trump’s “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order. • On March 18, Ohio’s Tenth District Court of Appeals struck down the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth, declaring it unconstitutional.
  • In Illinois, two groups have filed a complaint against the Illinois State Board of Education and Chicago Public Schools, claiming they are violating Title IX but supporting trans students’ access to bathrooms and locker rooms. LGBTQ+ community allies and advocates have responded with support for trans students.
