  • A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order this week, halting the removal of transgender service members Staff Sgt. Nicholas Bear Bade and Master Sgt. Logan Ireland. Both are litigants in Ireland v. Hegseth and Talbott v. Trump, cases currently underway in court.
  • Several proposed bills in the Texas Legislature focus on the LGBTQ+ community, including a bill on “gender identity fraud” and a bill that would allow health care workers to refuse treatment of patients if it conflicted with “belief about whether certain health care services are morally acceptable.”
  • New legislation proposed in Ohio would bar public school teachers from using any name or gender pronouns for a student other than what is listed on their birth certificate.
